Loud injector pulse

What's the cause of noisy injectors? Several times I have heard injectors with a loud pulse, almost sounds like lifter noise. What's the cure?

Larger injectors make more noise simply by design....if you are inquiring about stock injectors then I would have to say that older injectors would make more noise due to age. Try using a additive once in awhile to see if they quiet down some.

ya i would try that...


on the 5.2/5.9 V-8 in new truck and in my 92, you can here the injectors clicking away, sometimes sounds like the lifters are real noisy, but its normal, you learn to live with it.

"if its too loud, your too old."
