Megasquirt-II version 3.0 (also get the relay board, stimulator, and an LC-1 WBo2 ) DIYAutoTune.com has everything, the computer, LC-1, GM sensors, labeled wires etc. Its what i am running on my 24v swap. not to mention just the MS-II and parts will probably only be around $350-$400 (LC-1 is ~$200 but worth it)

took me about 8-9 hours total, over 3 days. you CAN buy a pre-assembled MS-II from DIYAutotune as well (surface mount v3.57 board and regular v3.0 boards). If your good with a soldering iron and got a decent magnifying glass, you'll do fine. take your time. the Stimulator is a must if your going to build it yourself. you use it to make sure the circuits are working fine as you assemble the MS. The LC-1 is a direct input to the MS, pre-configured settings are included.

btw, what are you going to do for spark? retain the distributor or go with (E)DIS? IIRC you should be able to use the distributor as usual, but im not 100% sure. my MS install isnt on a 12v lol

Usually you'd use Ford coils with EDIS, but it can work with the coil pack off Chrysler LH platform cars and later minivans as well.

A lot of the 3.0s used an optical trigger wheel with six equally spaced slots in the distributor. If you have one of these, our article on the 240SX would help with ignition control:

How to MegaSquirt your Nissan 240sx

Sounds like a weird thing, but Mopar and Nissan ordered their ignitions out of the same catalog.

m90daytona on here has done it on a 3.0 with a distributor. Ours works alot like the 240sx apparently. I wouldnt use EDIS i dont think. Not that its bad but i would probably keep the stock distributor setup myself probably.
