91 2.5 T1 SBEC with a 2.2?

My friend Ryan bought a 91 Shelby Daytona with a 2.5 T1 for parts to build up his 83 rampage. He plans on using the wiring and the SBEC for the 2.5 with a 2.2 motor and the newer 1 piece intake and possibly a TE04H mitsu. He also plans on intercooling and will be running an A568. What does he need to do to make the motor work correctly with that computer....if it can work correctly. Or does he need to get a 91 SBEC for a 2.2 turbo? Has anyone done this before? Any help or links to info will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I've heard of people using a VNT SBEC, because it was the only factory 2.2 SOHC SBEC available.

I've given this some thought too, because I want to install a SBEC harness into my Shelby Lancer (2.2 T2). I think the best way would be to get a re-cal.

hi i am running a 84 rampage that i put a 1989 2.2 daytona engine with auto trans i wired in a sbec frome a 91turbododge shadow it had a manual trans the stock controler works fine up to overboost i also have a 3" mandrel exchast, and buick grand nastional innercooler if you have any questions let me know i did all kinds of mods
