not sure which forum to put in but..... i am having a hard time figuring out where exactly my a/f gauge should be reading.. i have read dodgegarage, and heard different thing from different people... i have the cyberdyne gauge and it has 10 lights.. thedodge gargage says i should read 9 lights at WOT, but other people have told me that as long it is in the yellows (7-8 bars) i am fine.. what should it be reading at WOT? i have a rising rate regulator and would like to get it set so that i dont turn my engine into a paperweight..

Get a digital volt meter & tap it in to your A/F gauge or the O2 sensor wire. Then go to your favourite test area & see what voltage it sits at under WOT. Safe would be .90-.92, although, I've seen cars running .87/.88 with out any detonation. And of course, note what your A/F gauge is reading at what voltage.

Anyone that tells you that (7-8bars) should not be listened to...

the LED a/f gauges are NOT accurate at all. I would use a volt meter.

I had two of those to test and between the 2 of them they were off as much as .15 of a volt. YUCK!!!!

This is how mine is set-up... standard cyberdyne 10 light recalibrated ACCURATELY

1 0.72
2 0.76
3 0.8
4 0.84
5 0.88
6 0.92
7 0.96
8 1
9 1.04
10 1.08

It's set-up so the second green (#6) is .92 and I'm good to go... I let out when I hit .88. Much more useful set-up this way.
