I am trying to understand what inputs the computer uses for the ignition system on an '89 caravan.
What components make the ignition system work sensor wise? i.e. do I need the tps/map/etc. hooked up for the ignition?
What will happen if the computer no longer has the fuel injection working? Will this cause the ignition portion to cease running?

Just looking for some understanding on how the system works and what I might be able to do to it.

Thanks
-Jesse

The ignition system is intergrated with the fuel injection.
