Do you have a volt meter or a test light!?!?!?!
If you couldn't find the wire I told you to use than you can't just tap into the nearest **** thing or you'll fu*k your sh!t up.
First off, its not just under the dash any old place!!! I told you coming off of the ignition switch on top if the steering column. That means you have to remove the 5 nuts that hold the steering column up in the dash (unplug any of the other wires and connecters that might be hanging up on the column) now lower the column down onto the seat (or your lap) on the top of the column you'll see a rectangular thing with a bunch of large wires plugged into it. also running down the side of the "thing" is a metal rod that runs up to the key cylinder. turn the key and the rod moves and pushes the "thing". That thing is the ignition switch and those wires are the only ones you need to be fu*king with!!!!
Now that I have you in the right ball park (I hope you found it by now) you need to find the "accessory wire" and the "ignition wire". I know, I know, you've got the accessory done already, too bad, do it again the way I'm telling you just to be sure.
Take your test light or meter and your keys and with those big wires still plugged into the ignition switch find the wire that has NO POWER with the key in the "off" position and HAS POWER in the "accessory" and "on/run" position and NO POWER in the "start/crank" position. This wire should be black. Once you find it, connect you timers "accessory" wire to it.
Next is the "ignition wire". This wire has NO POWER with the key in the "off" and "accessory" position and HAS POWER with the key in the "on/run" position and the "start/crank" position. This wire should be dark blue. Once you find it connect the "ignition wire" from your timer to it.
If the colors aren’t right don't worry too much, Chry. has been known to change wire color codes some times. Just make sure the wire has the power "on" and "off" when I said it should.
Now that that is done I'm guessing you got the ground and battery wire right. But just to make sure, the batt. wire is not connected to just any wire with power when the car is off. Make sure it is a large wire that can hold a lot of power. The 2 best ways are to run another wire of the same size or bigger from your battery to the timer, or the timer "batt." wire can be connected to the big red wire on the ignition switch. The pink would work too but the red is best for this job. The ground must be a good clean metal surface on the body or frame with no paint, not just any piece of metal under the dash, some are week grounds that can't be trusted.
Now if you did everything the way I said to you are wired the way GReddy wants it done. All that is left is for you to go to GReddy's site and read the instructions and learn to program the dam thing.
If it still doesn't work than I would say you didn't program it right or it is broken.
And in the future!!!! DON'T BUY USED ELECTRICAL EQUIPTMENT WITH NO INSTRUCTIONS IF YOU DON'T KNOW JACK ABOUT WIREING!!!!!!!!!! Buy new stuff and bring it to a audio shop and bring your wallet.
:big grin:
