I went the junk yard, and found a Shadow with a boost gauge. I took it out, but I didnt get the sending unit, i could not find it because I cut the vacume lines in the way of the MAP sensor I also needed. Anyway, how do i hook it up? T-bar tap it into the The Fuel Pressure solenoid? What are the two wires in back of the gauge, lights? One other thing, The Shadow had a old 87 tubo 1 intake manifold like my charger, but i checked the computer by the passinger door, and it was a 91 Mopar computer. Is that a stock one, or turbo 1 perfomance one? Could it work on my 87 Turbo 1 Shelby Charger? Thnx.

Gliff Notes :
1 ) T-bar tap it into the The Fuel Pressure solenoid?
2 ) What are the two wires in back of the gauge, lights?
3 ) Is that alike a "Mopar" Performance Turbo 1 computer, or a stock unit?
4 ) Would that computer be okay for my 87 Turbo 1 Shelby Charger?

Thnx.

1. There's no sending unit. It's a pneumatic gauge. Just tee it into a vacuum line that sees boost and vacuum. Try to avoid the FPR or MAP line.

2. Light

3. Who knows. Could be a re-man. Get the part number off of it.

4. I believe L-bodies need L-body specific computers.

The 87 T1 Computer is universal across the applications... cept for the fact of the Auto vs Manual computers... apparently the Auto ones gave more boost too make up for the auto drivetrain loss

Well, I tried hooking it up to some vacume lines tonight, but I mostly got vac, when i would give it some gas, it would go to form -10 to 0. I need to know which one gets boost. Its a 87 log intake turbo 1, where did u guys hook it up to?

Well, the Shadow was an auto, so I guess I shouldn't use it.

Thnx for the help guys. MOPAR!

Did you drive it? You don't get boost until you have a load on the engine, like accelerating.
