You know the digital dashes that came with certain 84-87 Lebaron/Lancers, is there some way to change the Millage to whatever you want? One more question, how accurate is the Tachometer on those digital dashs? I heard stock ones arent, but I was thinking sense its digital, it might be diffrent.

Cliff Notes:
1 ) Change millage on digital dash?
2 ) How accurate is the digital tach, better go with a aftermarket?

1: Why would you want to do that? Isn't that fraud? (possibly a battery inside the dash itself, if it's a non-volitale memory chip, prolly not to be messed with)
2: I'm sure its accurate to a degree, but certianly not as accurate as a well built, properly installed (read: PROPERLY) aftermarket tach.

I wanted to know so I can change it to match my existing mileage on another car.

So they are slow huh, is there anyway to speed it up?

Not sure on the mileage thing, but the tach's are semi accurate. The problem is it can only measure in 250rpm measurements, that's why it seems slow. I use an aftermarket tach because my digi one goes dark at times.
