Hello all,

I need an adapter harness from the firewall to the bulkhead that will allow me to use an 88-89 Smec wiring harness and computer on an 85 GLH Omni with factory wiring harness.

I think I have seen something similar to this before but I am not sure who makes or sells them.... I need one desperately, as all the stock wires have either blown fusible links or have been messed with in the past.... it is a real rat's nest!!!!

We are trying to do a 2.5L/ A555 conversion in my buddy's GLH, and he is getting frustrated quickly (FWD DODGES WILL DO THAT!!!).

Please help in any way possible!!!

Thanks all!!!

that would be the s60 wiring harness.

no longer for sale, my buddy has one but isn't selling it.

good luck finding one.

if the 2.5 is the problem you are having, why not just get a custom calibration?

No, NO, I just need the harness man, not the calibration... I can use a stock computer for him for now....

But I have to have the harness to move forward with this project, otherwise, he is about to give up...

Does Forward Motion or anyone else have something like this maybe???

Thanks,
Ryan

Just splice your 85 bulkhead connector onto the SMEC harness. Here's a helpful tip that took me a while to find: There's a wire that goes from your fuel pump to where the old LM used to be. You need to run that to the SMEC computer. Also, the power limited wire runs thru the pass. side of the engine. Took me a while to find that out. Match up wires and you're good to go.
