i would like to know what the correct fuel pressure should be with vaccum hose disconnected right now i have the fuel pressure at 48 psi hose disconnected. i just replaced my fuel pump with a brand new mopar stock unit. ive got a 88 sundance, modified garret turbo, mp computer, +20 injectors, 3" exhaust with high flow cat., 18 in of boost, and at fuel pressure 48 psi i'm running really rich ( like black smoke cloud on acceleration ) slight hesitation.

I believe it's 40psi static(vacuum line disconnected and plugged) with the +20 injectors. 28-30psi with the +40's.

Exhaust size matters as well... With a good flowing 2 1/2" or better set-up, most people run 45 psi static. If you are rich tun it down from there... 2.2 or 2.5L??
