Let me start with the problem I was having. It seemed whenever it rained or whenever I worked on my after I was done the car would not start. I eventually realized that the wiring harness had issues right around the shock tower where all the fusible links are.

Basically, when the car wouldnt start I would have to leave the key turned into the on position and jiggle the harness until the computer got power and the I could hear the fuel pump come on. Then I would be able to start the car. Recently, I worked on the car and now I cant get power.

How do I tell if one of the fusible links are bad? They dont appear to be burned or destroyed. When there is power to the computer is it supposed to humm? Also what does code F1-1 mean on my trip computer? No computer?

I just spoke with someone who thinks it could be a bad ground. This would make sense. I am gonna look into it more.

One of the fusible links went bad on the +12 for the radiator fan supply on my car. It was weird because I was getting 6v to the fan. That little bugger was hard to track down because the wire had come apart inside the insulation and appeared fine from the outside.
My suggestion is to whip out the volt meter and start tracing wires.
