does anyone know if theres a "firing order" for the injectors...does it matter which connector goes on which injector?

Not 100% sure,

But they fire in "pairs" or commonly referred to as "batch fire"

I think 1+3 fire then 2+4 fire, which would make sense with the 1-3-4-2 distributor firing order.

The FO of the engine is 1-3-4-2 and if the injectors fire in pairs then I belive he's right because the companion cylinders 1&4 and 3&2 so that would make the most sence that they would fire in the 1/3 2/4.
