On my 88 Shelby Z, there is no left turn signal. Front or rear. when I turn the left signal on, the lights turn brighter, but do not flash. I have checked the front two bulbs to see if one filiment is burned out, but neither are. And in adition to that, the left arrow is half way on the whole time, and just gets twice is bright when turned on. I would really appreciate any help that could be offered.

Check for bad grounds. Especially check the two on both side inner fenders, behind the headlights. Could also be a faulty flasher.

I've seen this happen with blown bulbs.

IIRC when your blinker wont blink it's the rear that is out. And when the "arrow" on the cluster is on at half brightness all the time it is the front that is blown. Or it could be a combination of small push in corner marker bulbs blown.

Also if you look at rear tail light sockes the grounds in the socket break and you have to use the famouse "sheet rock screw" fix. (carfuly screw a sheet rock screw into the back of the socket where the ground wire goes in. this makes a conection between the ground ring of the socket and the crimp on the end of the ground wire.

I'll check the two front bulbs again. I've got new ones, so I guess its time for trial and error. Hopefully I don't have to ghetto rig the rear on up. Oh well if I do.
