Removal of Apexi SAFC 2

Ok, this maybe a backwards question but hey, I need some assistance. I want to remove the apexi safc2 that is in my srt4, is this relatively simple to do? How long would it take? Is there anything else that I would need to adjust after removing it to prevent blowing my engine up?

Yeah, they maybe naive questions but I really know nothing about this mod, hence I'd like it removed.
