Michael,

There are some threads on this site which have copies of the actual wiring diagrams. If you do not have the 86T1 and the 87T2, I suggest you get copies of them. I found it confusing that the labeling and terminology for the years was slightly different yet provided similar function. Can someone who cruises this site regularly make the connection? If no one helps you in the next few days, I will scan the diagrams in my manuals and send them to you.

Regards,

Bernard

Tha ONLY changes you need to make are those listed in the beginning of the thread. From memory 4-6 swaps/additions.

NOTHING else needs to be changed.

Okay got it. However, I don't need the 87 LM? I can just use my current LM correct? Thanks.

I was referring to using an 87 code based module. ALLLL "L" bodies are 86 based

you have to use an 87 T2 module to run 87 electronics. Or if you have an 87 T1 module you can have that reprogrammed. I guess you could go with a GLHS setup as you could then keep 86 electronics. I'd go 87 myself at least. Or SMEC the car.

Well, I've decided to do my T2 conversion/build at the end of the summer when I should get paid my summer earnings (about $3K). I'm going to run a 3 Bar Cal and MAP sensor, and 22 psi.

If anyone wants it, I have several Excel spreadsheets I made up when doing my T2 conversion. Mine was more interesting, I went from a 2.6L to the 2.2 T2. PM me and I can send them.

I don't have any newly-un-used pins in my LM connectors going from 87 T1 to 87 T2... I need to connect the 2 new wires for the AIS at the logic module - I'd like to put it into the connector so I can disconnect the logic module without having to un-solder a wire.

Anybody have any suggestions? I tried pulling one of the "pin recievers" (female type - opposite from the PIN itself) from a chrysler wiring harness for a cd-player but it wouldn't slide all the way into the connector.

I found that the pins from an AT Power source (older one) power connector are perfect. I happened to have an old power source in my other vehicle - I got to looking at the connectors and the actual motherboard power connector pins looked perfect.

I pulled a couple out and they worked great - so for any of you out there with extra old power sources that are bad or you don't need look there for your pins! =)

If anything - Turbo Dodge people are VERY resourceful!
