2.5 turbo 2 questions

Just bought an '88 Shelby Daytona that has a 2.5 swapped into it. The previous owner was running the 2.5 SMEC, however I got the original turbo 2 SMEC with the car. Naturally I'm gonna run the T2 SMEC. Also the car has the Garret T2 turbo NOT the 2.5 Mitsu turbo in it. I've got some work to do to the car, mainly fix the engine and rebuild the turbo- I'm just wondering if that T2 computer will supply enough fuel for the bigger 2.5. I'll run a multimeter on the O2 to seem what happens, any guesses??

Here's my guess. In a few weeks you will ask what the best replacement pistons are.

It will run lean.

you can put +20 injectors in with the 2.2 computer to make up the extra fuel, and you can back the timing off to 8* or so to relax the spark curve a bit. it will run tolerably well after that, but if the option is yours and you don't really have to, i'd put the 2.5 computer on it with a manual boost controller. you're engine will be happier.
