I'm going to build up the 2.2 TBI in my 5 speed 89 Omni (turbo conversion next summer), and am wondering how far I can push it before the stock injector can't deliver enough fuel anymore.

Things I have planned are exhaust, cam, compression, ported intake, head, and exhaust manifold. Not going to bother with a header.

Is there any way to compress the stock fuel pressure regulator to deliver more pressure, or can I only install an AFPR in the return line and use that to control the fuel pressure? I tried to remove it once and didn't see how it came off.
