turboxt never said he had any problems other than his gauge was reading differently after he converted to t2. your sensor obviously was the problem because it stopped moving altogether. even if you got a new bosch at that point it would have fixed your problem. basicly what i was telling him was that whatever the gauge is doing now will be normal and not to worry because the sensor is still ok. plus, whenever you change something that affects airflow into the engine, the computer has to readjust it's short term and long term fuel trim, which takes a while, so his readings might get closer to what he used to see.

sorry! didn't mean totally frozen it would move but not like it's supposed to. oh yeah that was a brand new bosh with maybe 50 miles on it.

it's not normal. to see the guage slugishly move back and forth. while driving at a constant speed it should bang back and for so rapidly you won't be able to get a decent reading. then at WOT the computer ignores the sensor and goes off a preset calibration therefore the gauge show a steady reading.

well honestly it being bad would probably be my fault (not sure though)

when i did my TII swap i was unaware of having to change the fuel pump. so i was running WAY LEAN. 14.5psi fuel presure vs. 55psi. i know that didn't help matters much, but with only 30-50 miles of testing it shouldn't have gone bad i would think.

A/F guage totally frozen.
overall poor performance.

bought and installed the new NTK sensor. EVERYTHING is all better.

I'm not saying that all his problems are going to go away, but getting the new (proper) sensor will put that fact to history. that will 90% garuntee fix his A/F gauge problem. this is if the rest of the car is in working order.
define "chug"

that might be what my car is also doing, if i dont let my car warm up for awhile at a cold start up. it will kinda buck and hesitate a lil bit until its warm.

yuppers same thing as mine. mine would run "ok" when it was fully warmed up and if i stopped to get gas it would chug again for a couple blocks than be "ok" again. idle would lope too.

the o2 sensor goes in the exhaust right after the turbo, just unscrew and unplug the old one and screw in and plug in the new one.

it's definately a one handed job with a 7/8 wrench. it's just way down there right by the turbo.
