YAY indeedee! Good finds! Maybe this one is finally put to bed. I noticed my oring was torn and squished almost two years ago..finally its fixed.

I've had the little black oring on for a whopping 120 miles..so far so good. Now if only I knew how much to torque the fitting its on...overtorquing it probably tore it in the first place..I think? Does that type of fitting bottom out metal-to-metal somehow or can you actually crush the oring?

my local CarQuest was able to interchange the AC/Delco #22516256 and has ordered the part for $0.62...

OK I just got my $0.62 part.. and there's 10 of them in the box !!
and I checked, they fit properly,, YaY

i know a little bit more about orings now and this oring seal may be a "crush" type which is supposed to actually deform the oring permanently, and make it a one-time-use oring...so if yours is torn or whatever, thats probably normal. and i think that also means that the fitting should be torqued fully (until a hard stop)..

comments anyone?

Yeah glad you two did your homework. Good job! Anyone know the part # for a AN-6 fitting for the regulator? I know thread pitch is 14x 1.50mm. The P/S fittings are fairly common. Not so much the fuel pressure fitting. Please don't anyone tell me that a NPT to hose barb fitting fits just fine with a wad of teflon tape. I value my life and cars too much to use that, but that doesn't stop vendors from selling them for this purpose.

BTW i just bought this oring a couple days ago..i was going to buy it at carquest but the grumpy parts jerks inspired me to just call the chevy dealership and buy it there (p/n 22516256)..it was $1.62 each (for just one oring)....still worth it..they had a few in stock too
