when my van is idling the my fuel pressure gauge reads 47-50psi with the FPR off its 55. I recently put in a new fuel pump and before that i though it was higher than 50 psi. Is 47-50 psi ok or is that to low?? it is a stock fuel setup. also as soon as i shut the engine off the pressure drops to 0 within a couple of seconds

Yeah, that fuel pressure is fine. But your pressure should not bleed off with the key off. Sounds like you have a leaky injector.
