I want to take the little trip computer out of the 89 lebaron donor car i have and put it where the trip "computer" is in my daytona (85).

Will it just plug right in or will i need to cut/splice some wires?

Some early 85's don't have the right plug for the navigator if that's what's your referring to.

If you have something in there now, you should be able to plug the full navigator in pretty easy. I think there's one more thing that needs to be connected. A single wire or something. But it was in there too, just taped back separate from the regular connector.
Takes about 10 minutes to pull off that trim around it though. Could always pull it out and see if you can find the right wires. If not, well, at least you tried "thumbs up

How early? No one can answer that question as early 85 means leftover 84.

And yes, the nav is the unit that "tells all" & has 12 buttons on it.

My orginal 12 button didn't work, and I found a 2 button. Plugged right up in my 87'. Not sure what year the two button was though.
