1988 Chrysler Lebaron

I recently purchased this car, it was not running, I now have it running but i have a issue that i need help with. when you drive the car for a short time and turn it off if you try to turn the car back on in less than 10 to 15 minutes it will not start, it cranks but acts like it is flooded the engine turns over but it will not fire off. If you wait about 30 minutes it will start like normal. what do i need to check out.

Re: 1988 Chrysler Lebaron

Welcome To TD!!!
First you need to determine if your issue is fuel or ignition or both.

1)Are any fault codes stored in memory?
2)Are the spark plugs showing any signs of fouling.
3)When the car will not start is spark present?
4)Verify fuel pressure is correct when the car runs and when the car will not start.

ECM or Hall effect switch (pick up in the distributor).
