How much nitrous will a 2.2 hold!?

Well kind of a broad question but how much spray do you you guys think a built up 2.2 can hold assuming forged pistons h-beam rods with head studs and mp hg!???

well an NA built can use a 300 HP fogger with side drafts.

Angelo Tayler, a gearhead here used to run 14.0 with a turbo GLH with 14 PSI and an auto trans. Then hit a 175 HP shot of nitrous and run 11.7. I he ran a 85 though that has the better rods and a better flowing G head.

he hasn't posted in a while but I'd PM him and ask him on nitrous. Because of turbos it is rare to see nitrous used with the Dodges. Angelo has the most experiance with it though that I know of.

I had a NOS setup on my 84 Daytona with a full Koffel's Place built engine in it back in 1986! It was a monster to say the least, it also had the Sperco intercooler which lived under the front air dam/chin. Mind you it had forged Venolia pistons, heavy OEM rods, ARP studs, and an o-ringed head, standard turbo, and a MBC for 14 lbs of boost. I can't say what size jets were in it but I will say this....it didn't take more than a day or two to break the diff in the A525 transmission! Have you looked at Meth injection? NOS gets expensive when U consider the cost of the gas and you cant just go down to AutoZone and buy a gallon like U can w/meth.

i had a 75 shot years ago... learned the hard way nitrus is too tempermental.. in my opinion.. ya have to be full throttle you have to be high revs... trigger comes loose on the throttle body.. you go thru red lights doin 90... blow head gaskets.. so... THEN.. i just redid the motor to give me 300 horse all the time.. with just boost.. bam done..

sweeeet! well my glh has a 568 trans so that should hold okay and a buddy of mine has a nos fill station in town:) but im not gonna be goin around spraying it all the time but every once in a while at the strip. (or if i really wanna embarrass my buddies lol) suppose ill try about a 125 shot then:) but will an na really take a 300 shot????
