Stage 3 cal fwd performace

I bought a stage 3 cal from fwd performace. In the discription it metions its set for 15lb of boost...Name: ECU 1988/1989 Stage 3 Calibration

15 pounds boost, revised spark and fuel curves , modified wastegate tables for faster spool up. O2 feedback, active knock retard, increased rev limiter and over boost protection provided. Retains and enhances cruise control functions.
All our calibrations are socketed at no added expense

I thought the map sensor will only read up to 14lbs. Will I have to trick the map with a resistor, or is it something with the cal that lets it get to 15lbs? BTW Cindy at FWD performace is most helpful. I just have an odd scheduel and with the time zone change, its hard for me to call her and ask.

If extra hardware is needed she states in the specs as noted above.

He's got the Stage 3 so as stated by FWD it's okay for 15 PSI,they bump the cutoff in the cal because with stock injectors this will be the upper limit. says in the description it has revised boost tables.

stage 4 is a different animal

I've had a stage 3 cal in my 90 2.5 with +20's stock map. It will let me boost past 18-20 if I crank the MBC up, but that's getting to a scary zone. Wide band reads fine still, but it will go well past the 14.6 mark

do you know about how much hores power I will be making at about 16lbs of boost, running 2 1/2 inch exhaust, not cat or muffler on pretty much stock engine with stage 3 cal and +20 injectors
