That's cool... but you would not believe the # of people that do NOT think things out

The info on the GLHS Stage II computer is 100% correct. I ran this way for years. Now the stock GLHS computer will not idle with the +20's.

BTW, 14-15 psi is easily handled by stock injectors. Why not save the new +20's for down the road??

That's a little low but well on the safe side. You want to run them, use 42-45 base fuel pressure and you are set!! Then adjust the fp based on your a/f or egt readings

also how much boost? i need to know to do some math...
At 29 psi, when the turbo works, lol, I need to run 61-62 psi, at 20-23 psi, I run it at 53 ish. On the street at 12ish boost, I set it at 32 psi. Hope this helps.

I have said that before, do at your own risk, maybe not in this thread but I will from now on, :big grin: I don't understand what you don't understand. I don't race my van 24/7 and had my stock injectors maxed out at 18 psi. So its either knock my fuel pressure down for daily driving or swap out the +20's every race weekend!!! I drive my van everyday, customers borrow it so I don't need more than 12 psi of boost on the street. I am broke and compensate for this by simply lowering my fuel pressure when not racing. Sure its a pain but its free, it works, fuel ecomony is good as I had these injectors tested down to 20 psi for spray pattern. So I will post that Caveat now, don't do it unless your are competent and have access to the proper guages and equipment-ie gas sniffer which I also have. :thumbs up

wait... you still have a 2.5 dont you.... so these numbers and the math i just did wont work will they it is stated on gary d's site that a 2.5 uses 10% more fuel then a 2.2.... i could just subtract the 10% i guess....
