Thanks shawn for doing that, yeah, its no difference detected between map and barometer sensor at startup, I believe. What does this mean? Anyone ever have this problem before? I cant help but think that the new head flows better and the manifold flows better, could that be why it idles high? Its got the glhs intake mani, but the stock fuel injectors and fpr that came in the csxt, I could swap the glhs injectors/fpr in but I dont think that would change anything. Any help??? Andy sorry this isnt in electrical, could you move the thread Dean?

Thanks all,

Dustin

I would first start looking for broken vac lines especially to the baro solenoid /map sensor. Also if they are ok then try another map sensor or baro solenoid.

I have seen the steel part on top and bottom of the Baro read solenoids rust and leak, casuing overboost and high idle problems. A simple junkyard solenoid could be the fix....happened once to the neighbour's SC.

Another thing to look at is the fuel pressure regulator. If it's leaking fuel into the vacuum lines you'll get a MAP code 13 as well. Seen this happen on a bunch of cars.

Condensation in the line will do that as well as gas. Make sure the line to the baro read sol. is not collapsed or obstructed .
