I had similar results, never left me sit but starting to buck and carry on after a month of use. Switched back to the champion 9's and went on my way.

William,
Do you have much in the way of modifications? If not then going to a recessed plug isnt going to help much.

Weird, I have no failures on mine and I am using a high output coil, another turbo van is running them and one car. All run great don't detonate as badly or it somes light pinging. I run the Iridium version now and couldn't be happier, no wear and 3500 kms on them.

if anyone runs the BR9ES they should check out the BR9ECS. i wish i had a camera. Has a tapered base on it and an unshrouded electrode like what one of the guys did to his plugs earlier in this thread. they come from ngk this way right out of the box

The plugs are shrouded on purpose.
