code 34???

[mo' parts]

recently got this code. im using what is suppose to be a stock t2 computer. isnt code 34 for vnt? anyone ever see this before? didnt find anything trying to search this forum. any help is appreciated. maybe i have a vnt computer and not stock t 2. thanks

[Blue Iroc R/T]

34 (1984 – 1986) EGR Solenoid Circuit shorted or open. Appears if solenoid does not turn on and off when it should. ATM code 08.
34 (1987 – 1991) Speed Control Circuit shorted or open.

speed control? cruise? not sure where to look. car did have cruise, but was unhooked many miles ago. never had any codes till now. maybe my son turned on the cruise button, ill check

thanks a bunch, it was the cruise, my son turned it on while sitting in it the other day while i was running my cold air intake up front in the fascia.
