Engine bay wiring harness out of a 90 and up car. A turbo transmission. Your best bet is to get a donor car, and all 90+ cars where 2.5 T1 expect for a few 2.2 T2

Dont forget a turbo fuel pump, same as V6 pump.
You dont have to use a 90 or newer harness you can use any year but you will have to use that year SMEC, SBEC, or logic module-power module setup. The exhaust is different from TBI to turbo also.

Older engine harnessed don't just plug into the newer ones. So its just simpler to use a 90 and up.

Different torque convertor, and more clutch packs. A tbi tranny won't last long.

I just did this swap, a 89 daytona 2.5tbi to a 88 2.2 turbo I.

The tranny will bolt up and will work but dont expect it to last very long! I left my n/a tranny in and totally screwed it after a month or so (pushing it).

Dont throw away your 2.5 motor!!! It's a commonblock. I did and I regret it! Now Im looking to pay for one!
