First off read the codes and i have a CODE 53 (internal Module failure)is this in any way connected to when i turned on all the goodies in the daytona and have major voltage drops. With just the lights on it drops down about 1 1/2-1 volts when i added the both front and rear wipers and defrost again another 1-1 1/2 volt drop won't even go into what happened when i turned the stereo on. All in all voltage dropped to about 1 hash mark over 8 volts! Not Cool!? Also having issues when at idle the power steering pump starts whinning are the three issues connected. The alternator is about 6 months old (90amp) Seems to be bit much of a voltage drop please advise o wise ones.

Thanks
Matt

Code 53 means that the data on the ECU's EPROM doesn't match the checksum value. You either have a custom cal, or the chip is corrupted.

If you have an aftermarket ECU don't worry about it, it doesn't trigger any limp in modes, if you have a stock ECU, get a new one.
