You don't need much torque at all.. Normal will be fine.

I ALWAYS use some vasoline when installing the injectors. Good choice.

That's gets me about this site and some of the vendors that supply/sell the parts. Often times simple things like this aren't mentioned by those who know, while post after post is spent on idle BS. Parts are sold by vendors that don't fit properly and some, not all, would not lift a finger to make it right. If this Accu-Fab thing has been a known problem why would a vendor continue to sell the product without informing the purchaser? Anyones car burn because of this? I recently purchased one and installed it on a fuel rail for a 2pc intake and we all know they aren't easy to come by. This issue was never mentioned and yes I experienced this same problem. Fortunity I've been working on cars long enough to know when something is amiss. But it sure p1sses me off to have to experience things like this time and time again when it could easliy have been averted. It's much worst for those just getting started having little money and less experience.
I also recently encountered a similiar problem with an EGT gauge kit I bought, same one sold by a vendor on this site but only after the purchase did I discover the temp probe will bottom out on the far side of the exhaust manifold using this kit {AutoMeter 5744}. Why you may ask didn't I buy from the vendor on this site who sells the very same piece...SERVICE in a nut shell, informing your customers of possible problems is part of good customer service just as is a decent return police. So if you want my opinion...if Summitt sells the same thing it's a no brainer. Okay, I'll get off my soapbox now, just something thats been in my graw for sometime. I usually keep a low profile but I feel this was something that needed said, may not have said it as well as others could have but there it is...

TU wrote me a note to put the washer on when they sent me the regulator. Can't complain about that.
