ok i installed a new o2 sensor and got it all running again
checking out my gauge and it is bouncing back and forth from lean to rich like it should (sometimes stays on lean until i give it gas, but not that often)
anyways, when it is bouncing back and forth, i thought there was only supposed to be one square showing, not a couple
because when mine shows readings, it has a couple squares lit up at once (kinda like different intensities of each) when it is bouncing back and forth

i am just wondering if this is how it is supposed to be, or if there should only be one little square moving from lean to rich, not all of them light up when it bounces around ya know what i mean?

if this isn't right, what could be the problem, the ground, or signal connectivity or 12v wire source or what?

thanks, Justin

Oh, well yeah the O2 sensor has to warm up first. Your engine runs pig rich until it gets to like 160 degrees, thats when the ECU starts to read the O2 sensor.
