hey guys i got my rail all seated and set up with no leaks but had to remove it to make some changes... now it leaks from the top of several injectors and i cant seem to stop the leak.. i read you should flip the clips but im not sure i get what that means. can anyone explain better or have another idea... also whats an easy way to move the battery to the passanger side... i dont think i like the idea of soldering the cables. and lastly i broke off the dipstick flush and i cant drop the pan to remove it till spring... would putting a bolt in it till then be a resonable solution ya think... thanks guys.

On the old fuel rail, they go one way. On the new fuel rail turn them upside down so the injectors don't disappear in the rail. Also check the welds at the rail flanges. I had to grind mine flat so the rail did not rock. Also check that the top of the weld doesn't interfere with the bolt sitting down all the way on the flange. kI'm thinking about welding a triangular shape gusset on each side of the flange to reinforce the flange for safety.
I almost pulled my Olds daily driver off the road yestrday because of a sound gas smell. It turned out to be a range rover on the side dumping raw gas out the tailpipe. After 18 years of td's I go psycho when I smell antifreeze or fuel.

The retainer clips that hold the injectors in the stock fuel rail need to be turned upside down to use the TU rail, I had to grind away the shoulders of the clips so they fit properly {upside down} on the injectors. All this does, as was mentioned, is pervents the injectors from going too far in the TU fuelrail. That solved the leaking problem I had. Also make sure you're using shorter bolt to mount the rail as the old ones are too long. Hope this helps.
