went to autozone and peps boys today, both stores sell on their pegboards a fitting that is close: its a 5/16's straight thread with a flaired and o-ringed steel tube that seats/seals on the accufabs seat at bottom of units fuel inlet. prob is the fitting doesnt have a bulge or barb to ensure hose wont slip off the steel tube so i took a pass on the part. the important aspect is that the correct fuel inlet seals with a flair/o-ring on a seat, not on the threads themselves (ie: NPT).....if youre using a male NPT thread sealed into a straight female thread you have a seriously unreliable seal that is nothing shy of a hack job.

ok the fitting does go into the return portion of AFPR, someone just informed me the fuel inlet is always direct to the rail (thanx Jonny).

but, still the return line is under quite a bit of pressure, certainly enuf to spill a lot of fuel onto a hot engine and cause a fire should the return line leak at the AFPR.

Don't forget the mounting washers. I needed two on each mounting stud to prevent the inlet hex piece from going too far into the reciever cup on the rail. This left barely enough of the studs protruding to get the mounting nuts back on.

yup, TU included these instructions, but no washers.

RSTURBO i picked the Accufab soley based on the many posts/people on this website recommending it.

i painted over the "accufab" logo, and painted the diaphragm retaining cap screws to make the whole unit black, and less noticeable underhood. once i get the fuel pressure dialed in i'll paint the adjusting screw also.

Well,
I got back on this last night, and low and behold, it leaks! So I guess It's off to the bone yard this weekend to look for a T2 line. So, please disregard my earlier post (quoted below).
BTW, how do you edit a post?

Tight enough that I have full confidence it would seal as is. I would probably put sealer or lock-tite on just to make sure it doesn't vibrate loose. I had to buy a pack of 10 of these, so if anyone needs one, drop me an E-mail.
