I picked up a 88 T2 computer for my 88 shadow that has a 87 T2 swapped into it. I have the air temp sensor in the intake, but dont know where to hook the wires up to, to make it work. I guess i need a digram of the 2 pinouts or somthing....

There are two wires that needed to be spliced in to the harness. One is for the sensor ground circtuit, which is not to be confused with engine ground. This wire is usually black with blue tracer. If you peel back the harness conduit and friction tape, you can usually find the main sensor ground splice junction in the harness run that goes along the firewall. The other wire is the one that goes to the SMEC. Unfortunately the '88 T1 SMEC 60-pin connector won't have the pin installed, so you'll need to get creative about getting it spliced in. Be carefull if you decide to take the connector apart....they break very easily.

You can splice the sensor ground wire at the ecu plug, but it may be easier to do it at the main splice, since it's so much closer to the sensor itself. I'm not sure about the SMEC pin#s...I'll see if I can dig that stuff up.

more digging in the chiltons is showing it as 21 on another digram, the pin-out list isnt showing anything for pin 21 so Im assuming thats it. I really wanna get my T2 ecu in so i can take advantage of my G-head and my +20's....

According to the Mitchell wiring diagrams I have for the '88 Daytona:

Sensor ground: pin #4 (black/blue)
Air temp sensor: pin #21 (black/red)
