just wanted to ask if anyone had every heard or thought of a ignition kill switch or rev limiter that u could hook up so that if the motor goes lean/overboosts it would temporarily kill spark to the motor. Also.....maybe u could get a pressure switch for the wastegate reference line that would bleed off all the exhaust gas in the turbo into the exhaust of the car.

Im sure theres a lot more effiecent/simpler way to do this any response would be great.

I've thought about doing this, since I want to bypass the stock cutout, but dont want to have a wastegate line accident and blow the motor!

would not be hard to trigger the ASD (could setup a relay to shoot 5v down the map line to hit cutout), or a switch to a relay (or not) that would trigger a solenoid to drop all boost (basically bypass any boost control and short the vac line straight to the manifold).

None of them are hard to do, and could be beneficial if your foot aint quick enough to notice a drop on the AF meter, or a huge spike on the boost gauge...

the computer already has a overboost cutout. for those of you that are going to say "but i have a cutout riser", well now you know one of the reasons why it is a bad idea when compared to a 3 bar setup.
for something to address your lean condition problem, you would need a wideband for that, narrowband sensors just cant be trusted.
