I talked to Paul about my cal, he told me that lots of T1 cars had the Charge air temp sensor on the harness its just not turned on. Now I see the connection for the knock sensor but I dont know what this could go to?? There are no other sensors on my intake.

I am hoping this the charge air temp sensor, will save me some work.

Thanks,
Jeff

looks like it... but usually they have a green rubber seal around the outside of the plug that goes INSIDE the sensor.

Just converted my t1 to tII, it had the charge temp plug & sensor on my log, just changed it 'cause the plug is diff. Maybe we can only see one wire in the pic, but definetly looks like charge air plug (if it is 2 wire), I just went out and looked

This one is only one wire and has only one pin on the inside with what looks like a place I can add another.... this is confusing. Its a black and green wire if that helps...

Thanks guys,
Jeff

That's for the knock sensor, there's a jumper coming off the sensor that connects to that. The knock sensor is one wire and the IAT will be two.

I'm pretty sure the plug for the IAT if it's there will be part of the main harness and it'll be near the fuel lines.

The connector on the right goes to my knock sensor its a round connector... here is another pic. The connector on the left is the one in question...

That connector plugs into a short 6-8 inch jumper that plugs into charge sensor. should be 2 wires in connector. if it wasn't raining i could go look at my car in parking lot. i'll try and check on it later. Shawn
