I'm not going to bother dynoing it afterall, if it has made any difference it's not noticible. Not worth spending the money to dyno it again anyways.

Of course, since alcohol is also a fuel, that should also help to support more boost.

I have played with methonal injection . This is on chev V8 tho. I played with injectors in the plenum and then taken them out. The meth add more torque to the engine and also cools the intake air charge down heaps. From 126 deg C down to 54 deg C.........The engine sounded lazier, but made more torque , and for longer.
Picture of my engine in " other turbo vehicles" i think it is called...

If alcohol was injected, the intake air WILL be cooler, therefore more torque will be abtained. Methanol will naturaly make more torque as well. If more torque is obtained, and it made for longer, more horsepower it gained.Horsepower is derived from torque AT a rpm. eg. HP = rpm multipled by torque then divided by 5252. eg...If you have 5000 rpm by 350 ft/lb's then 5000 * 350 / 5252 = 333.2 hp...
if you have 6000 rpm by 350 ft/lbs then..... 6000 * 350 / 5252 = 399.8 hp
Also, you will have more hp at the same boost (maybe alittle more boost from extra gases coming out the engine.) and same ignition timing, with methanol injected.

I've just complteted a R & D sesion on the dyno , but using another type of engine. I hope thses ideas can help you.
With extra meth injected into plenum, the intake air temps drop about 30 deg C ! This allowed for 4 psi LESS boost and 8 DEgress LESS timing to make the same hp levels. Keeping in mind that this is a meth engine and no intercooler used.More meth and adjusting the timing to suit engine requirements , will increase the torque, and if you can keep the toque going for longer..... therefore more hp is generated.
Hope this helps

ive done a back to back dyno run on one of my turbo cars using alky, i had a 45 hp 50 ft lb gain with alchy as it let me raise the boost 6 psi over its detonation point. Wasnt on a turbo dodge though but i know it works.

I don't know if you have an intercooled car or not, but I have been able to run boost levels at least 6lbs higher on a non-intercooled log intake car. I think I remember a "rule of thumb" that says you gain 8 HP for each pound of boost. So, 6 lbs would get you nearly 50 HP on a non-intercooled car. This has been good enough to get my '86 Lebaron into the high 14's.
