I have a few Saab cold start injectors, I thought I would use them combined with a pressure switch and T1 fuel pump for an alky system. I believe they flow something like 30 lbs/hr.

Does anyone know how I could measure the flow?
Anyone attempted to do this?
Anyone have any suggestions?
How would this affect the reading on a Dawes device?
Will the oxygen sensor even read alcohol?

Thanks,
Guy

the methanol will probably corrode the insides of the injectors. i would stick with a nozzle that can run alcohol.
spraying alcohol will increase your fuel and therefore affect the reading on your dawes device and yes the o2 sensor can read a rich condion caused by alcohol or any other fuel for that matter because an o2 sensor reads how much oxygen is in the exhaust

I did this for a while. You need alot of flow with alky. I used 3 injectors. They were ok with denatured alky for quite a long time, but didn't flow that much. The misting nozzles I use now flow much more and they are cheap to get.

Thanks Carl. Where did you plumb yours in? Just before the throttle body?
I'd like to duplicate your intake set up, maybe next time I have the head off.
