is methanol injection bad for my o2 sensor life

i want to know if the injection of methanol and water, to the engine shorten the life of the oxygen sensor it is the stock one,??

If it is the stock one you probably would want to change it to get max reliability and performance, because considering it's age, I doubt it's accurate(assuming this is an older TD). I believe the injection of water and methanol would actually be beneficial to that particular sensor, with it being super hot steam on the exit of the cylinder head? That's what commonsense and the infomercial about the "Scunci Steamer Hand Held Steam Cleaner" has told me.

i know that its better than running leaded race gas. the metallic stuff in the race gas is bad for the o2 sensor but is good for no detionation problems.
well methanol is good too but no lead, so it is better i think.

TDJunkie is right. It keeps everything cleaner. Pull the head off a car that's been running alk/water and the pistons are clean enough to eat off of. + VE and good for keeping the CC temperatures down in high boost.
