fwd performance sells a water injection kit complete,,, I'm not sure if they only sell the complete kit or individual parts,,, heres a link , I have heard of guys using nitrous nozzles to spray water/alky mixtures just something you might want to look into

Go to http://www.mcmaster.com, page 1901 of the catalog. The "mist nozzles" on that page are what are used by quite a few guys for alcohol/water injection systems. They work well.

Check out www.coolingmist.com they've got it all. Nozzles, pumps, complete kits, starting at $115. That's where I'm getting my kit at.

By the way, I talked to David Hill (at Coolingmist.com) and he recomends the 3.9gph flow rate nozzle for a 4cyl. application at or around 18psi boost. He also recomends the 100psi pump for that amount of boost. Hope this helps.

If one ever plans on using the injection system with alcohol as a fuel/cooling agent (as opposed to just water as a cooling agent), make sure you go alot bigger on the nozzle(s). On my car, I am running two nozzles with a total flow rating of 25 gpm @ 100 psi.

Hey Larry, is that a typo or are you actually running 25gpm vs 25gph?

25 gallons per minut might just cause hydrolock me thinks!

What kind of boost are you running with that setup?

WHOOPS! Typo! 25 GPH not 25 GPM!

I am running about 34-35 psi boost on pump gas with the twin nozzle setup for the supplemental fueling and the +40's for the gasoline portion of the fueling.

Yeah....this thing guzzles alky!

I caculated out the other day how much alky it can theoretically consume with the controller settings maxed out (and pump pressure higher than the nozzle flow rating pressure). I think it was about 200 lb/hr of alky.

DAMN! Thats a lot of boost on pump gas. My friend with the Syclone was running 28psi on pump but 34, holy crap. That's badass!

I was not a believer in alky (I use methanol) until I played around with it. I am now convinced!

I think one of the keys to its success is the tremendous charge cooling it provides. With what I have learned, if I were to ever do a lower boost setup, or a car with a blower, I wouldnt even waste using an intercooler. I think one could get all the charge cooling theyd need with just alky.
