Hi, I was wondering if anyone has done this, or thought of it. Most high-end turbo owners are using alcohol/water injection. It seems to be a really cool idea, and has proven to be effective in reducing detonation at higher boost.

Now, most people inject there "mix" into the intake, so it mixes with the air mixture. But has anyone added this water/methonal to there fuel lines? So it would inject through the injector? Could you take a +20 % injector in, and fill your gas tank with 80% fuel and 20 % this mixture and get the same results? Iam just curious if its possible, or if anyone has attempted it.

it would be very difficult to control exactly how much water/alcohol gets to the injector - gas/alcohol/water dont mix well... so it wouldn't be an even mix.

Water/alcohol do mix, which is why they can be injected together. You could install a second row of injectors just for your mix, but I think you were trying to go simple rather than more complex right?

Or you could make your own 'injectors' out of hypodermic needles (guys who build small gas turbines use them) and feed your mix to a spacer between the head and intake - kinda like some No2 systems work. IMO, it wouldn't be very hard, if you can get a very flat spacer made or have access to milling tools.

Yeah i was just hoping for a simple way to get it in there. Probly the easiest for me is right after the airbox. Thx for the insight though.
