I think a fuel pump is way overkill for that. Not to mention the pump is meant to pump fuel, not water.. Water would probably cause it to rust out bad. I know that's what happens if you try to use fuel injectors to inject water, they rust open/shut in short order..

I dunno about alcohol helping there.. The FFV vehicles ran 85% alcohol, and had to have stainless steel fuel rails to prevent rust.. Sounds like it makes things worse. I would think it'd take an alcohol like ethylene glycol, which we all know creates a huge white cloud when it burns..

On my previous setup, I used a stock T1 (same as T2) pump and a stock regulator and a return line and 3 cold start injectors. Used it for over a year with no problems, although the alcohol got cloudy.
Don't know what will happen with water instead of alcohol.
The current setup uses misting nozzles, the same T1 pump (yes, the one taken out of the previous setup) and no return line. Here is More Info

Nice pictures, but with those things stuck that far into the manifold, isn't that going to obstruct and disrupt the airflow in a bad way?

It's best to use brass, because methanol has no effect on it. the nozzles from www.mcmaster.com work the best for fine atomization of the solution even at psi as low as 40psi.

I guess there is some effect on airflow, but I don't think the upper part of the runners are a bottleneck.

Yes, straight denatured for now.
When I had the original setup in the shadow, it had a return and the alky got cloudy. The current misting setup has no return and the alky is crystal clear.
One if the 3 original Cold Start Injectors I used to use on the shadow did clog or rust after a long period of time without being used.
I don't yet know the long term effect on the misting nozzles yet, but I'll tell you in a year or so.
