I tried searching, with no luck...
How much water can I inject into a suck-thru T1 without hurting anything (I dont want to trial-and error a set of rods!).
I want to get to about 14psi on cool days, and am changing induction to suck cooler air too, I only run 91+ octane, so I dont think its pushing it.
I have a cut-out raiser ready to install, but want to cool things a bit (as well as add some more fuel over the cut-out point), and would like to do a water, or water/alky injection.
So, how much is too much? Not spraying enough and Its not worth doing it at all, spraying too much, and I'll be towing my car home at the end of the semester...

how would I know its too much? Should I add a certain amount until I see something from the exhaust, is there a 'recommended' flow rate for a mister? What is considered GOOD?

5 gal/hr is good for a little charge cooling, but not much for enrichment. I'm up to 15 gal/hr now. (and climbing)
Basically, if your car is adequately fueled now for the boost level you're running, and you just want a little charge cooling and a bit more octane, the 5 gal/hr works fine. But, if your wanting to up your boost another 3-5psi (or more) and do it solely with the alky, you'll need quite a bit more. (20+ gal/hr)
Plus your mix will change from a 50/50 (distiled water/alcohol) @5 gal/hr to maybe 25/75 @ 15 gal/hr (or just run strait alky)

very good info! thats exactly what I wanted to know! how much to add for enrichment, and how much for cooling... I want a little of both in the near future
I need to install a new fuel pump first, and get some other things squared away so I dont blow the engine out due to stupidity... But until I get my IC installed into my log charger, I'm thinking of building a mister setup for some cooling, and a seperate alky feed for enrichment over 12psi (to about 15psi). But I've still got some other projects cooking to get me THAT far...
