Hijacking your Post, but do you want to hear something funny?? Those clutches, are bulit, just 2.1 Kilometers from where I am sitting (Schweinfurt Germany) and ya know what? I know Dozens of people that work there, and have for ages...and guess what? NONE of their internal parts lists show any Sachs clutches as fitting Daytonas OR LeBarons!! Otherwise, I could have a few that "fall off the truck"...! Aint that a kick in the Cajones!

Didnt say I couldnt order them from OUTSIDE of Germany!! I said, they are made ina building that I can see from my bathroom window- and, that I know dozens of guys that work there, and they cannot find ANY trace, or Part numbers, for Clutches (or shocks, or bearings, or ANYTHING) for the Daytona or LeBaron!! I guess or assume, that thse parts must switch out with some other Car...who knows, Kias, Toyotas, VW's, something...cause Sachs makes millions of Clutches and Shocks and other parts per year...but go ask the guys, and I mean HIGHLY PLACED guys there, "Hey Hans, look in the back, grab me a few Daytona clutches" and all you get are shrugged shoulders and blank stares! Same thing when you go toa parts company here!! NEVER HEARD OF IT they say over and over and over...even though, they are built RIGHT HERE IN TOWN!!
That is like going to Bowling Green Kentucky, and asking someone that works at GM's Corvette Factory, if they make Corvettes there, and them saying no!! CRAZY!

They make good clutches, of course the R/T uses them, but Ive logged over a million miles with them in my Dually and never had any trouble.

thats what it is, its an r/t clutch. I will let you all know the p/n when it comes in. I just went in there and they said that they had the ones for the 2.2 n/a, t-2, t-4, t-1, and vnt. They had it all right in their computer. It cost me about 150 for it all. So then i guess they are a good clutch then. Thats what i was hoping to see.

well, thats good then, they use the t-3 pp right? And someone told me that the t-3 disc wasn't very good so they use the t-3 pp and the t-2 disc. Whats up with that.

The disc's are the same too. Only the hub size/spline counts are changed.

As far as I know, .. and what I've been told by Sachs, is the PP and disc's are the same between the T2 kit and the T3 kit. The only difference between those two kits is the spline count on the clutch disc hubs. ... large spline vs small spline. That's it.
Sachs/Borg Beck offer's other kits as well, like the T1 kit which is not as stout. That's why you have to watch what you order. Gary shows one of these in action on his website. Those have a Luk PP and a Valeo disc as I recall.

The TIII PP is different for sure. It is slightly smaller in diameter on the outside but has a bit more clamping force than T2 PP. Many people run the TIII PP on the T2 just for that reason. But you CANNOT use a T2 PP on a R/T or the car will not start due to unterferance from the crank sensor.
