ok doing a swap on my 89 turbo caravan im about finished with the swap when it hit me..im useing a neon shift wich is to short to reach comfortably...so if i have to add some length to it why not shorten the throw while im at it.....how much can i safely add to the bottom of the shifter and how much can i safely add to the side throw as well?..im planing on raiseing the shifter itself about 1/2 inch in the mounting plate as it is since the boot could easily cover it....any options here...no im not buying a shifter
