Some clutches won't clear those ARP bolts even on the stock flywheel. doublecheck the clearance before assembly.

Interesting to know. I wish the vendor would have said something when I purchased the bolts....

They clear my clutch just fine. And clear most people's just fine. I think it may have something to do with how many times the flyhweel has been surfaced, or how much was taken off when it was surfaced. Or there's just some discs out there with the springs hangin way out. Ed Dreistadt, who has a TII converted 5 speed converted K car (Lebaron?) Convertible just recently ran into that problem. He's had more than his fair share of bad luck with that car along the way, really sucked that the bolts ran into his clutch.

My flywheel was brand spanking new out of the box(Fidanza aluminum unit). The first clutch I tried to use with it had been working fine with the stock FW and PP, just couldn't hold the power anymore.

The new PP and custom disc were built in response to the problems I was having(to try and prevent it from happening again). Turns out that the new set-up also hit the bolts, so back to the OEM ones I went! LOL
