My A670 had a leak at the converter seal so I pulled it and put a new one in and now it has a leak at the converter seal. It's leaking about the same amount as before. What are the chances that it has a crack in the converter snout, What about the pump gasket, What about the cheap seals I'm using? I'm ordering a new pump gasket and seal and I have a used torque converter that I don't know if I should use, It was in the last trans that was in my van and it snapped the shaft towards the back of the trans, But the fluid was still sparkling clean. So what should I do this time to ensure it doesn't leak anymore?

I would completely remove the transmission and go through the whole thing. paying particular attention to the differential pin.

No need for that, And I already put diff pin retainers in it. I pulled it from a 96 I bought for parts, Previous owner was a family member and said the trans was rebuilt, Found some yellow writing on the diff and front pump to go along with that. The trans shifts beautifully so theres no way I'm rebuilding it. I'm really thinking the converter is suspect so I gonna try to get a new one and replace the pump gasket and converter seal and see what happens.
