I did the Superior shift kit today. But I'm getting a 2-3 Flare (more like a neutral drop) and under hard pull mushy 1-2. Just cruising 1-2 is fine and the 2-3 flare is still there dropping down to a lower gear is fine also.
Once it in 3rd it pulls hard no slipping.
Ok I did the MVB, All went ok, But I did have a few little problems.
According to the kit I needed to drill hole C in the Plate to.093. Mine didn't match up perfectly, Hole C isn't on my plate the way it's on the layout in the Destructions (85 A413) . So I couldn't drill it, Two I pulled the Bracket off for the Pressure valve, and it went sprong, The switch valve spring landed on the work bench with the with the old Kick down Valve spring and I got confused on which witch was which. I put the stronger spring in the Switch valve. Could I have got those mixed Would that have caused it? I still have the old spring It's kinda green looking if that's any help. I'd like to get some opinions before I pull the VB out again. TIA
