I'm guessing you mean the kickdown cable?

If so, Manual valve body.

Did the MVB tune, shifts great But yes I still need to get rid of the Kickdown cable.
If I take it off I get a bad flare between 2-3, Not good. Can I just lock it like it was at Full throttle? I'm getting ready to put carbs on that won't have provision for a kickdown so I need this issue solved.

Now that I'm thinking about it, the MVB is not critical. You can lock the kickdown without MVB, but shift quality will suffer. If it's a race car, then lock it as if it's at full throttle. Daily drivers won't work as well without the cable.

I'm running a Superior shift kit and did the full MVB tune. Should be ok.
